HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Bryson rang in the new year with the exciting news from the Border Patrol!

He was called on assignment to start training on January 21st - Late March.

After training in New Mexico, he will be stationed in Yuma, Arizona.

I am so excited for him and couldn't be more proud!

He has worked hard mentally and physically, by studying his Spanish, and passing

numerous tests. And eating healthy and going to the gym daily to be ready to endure

the training process!

We are packing up our town home and moving into storage! The baby and I are going

to be splitting our time between families, living out of our suitcases for a couple months!

Luckily we will still be able to talk over the phone and share emails, so he wont miss

out on our little guy growing up so fast!

Derek started out the New Year with a 2 month check up at the Dr. Office.

He weighed in at an astonishing 13 1/2 pounds! Yes that's right!! Our "little"

Sumo is growing faster than ever! He also had to endure those oh so lovely tetanus shots!

He handled himself pretty well, only crying for a moment then falling asleep.

Thank Goodness for Baby Tylenol!

I myself welcomed the New Year in by losing my cell phone in the Arizona Airport!

Besides that, I was able to celebrate my 21st Birthday on January 4Th.

Bryson and I were able to actually go out for a romantic dinner for two while Grandma Reece

babysat the little guy. Bryson bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers

(with me not dropping hints of course.....) ;)

Well that's about where we are for now, the next little while will be spent packing up everything!

We hope that everyone had a great Christmas, and a happy New Year!
