Derek's Big Boy Bed....

Well we have made the transition. Derek is now in his own big boy bed and loving it. With the baby getting closer we thought we should do the switch now so that we weren't dealing with two little one's that wouldn't sleep.

Surprisingly Derek only fussed for a minute and then a couple hours later before we went to bed ourselves we peeked in on him to see what the damage was... to our surprise he was snuggled up with his bear skin and fast asleep. Bryson and I were both ecstatic. We thought that he would just want to get down and play with all of his toys but he proved us wrong. He is growing up so fast I can't even believe it. Next big thing is going to be introducing him to his own potty. Hopefully he'll do well with it, even if he just gets the idea of "going potty" it will be a big step. He hates when his diaper is wet, or stinky so only time will tell how it will turn out. Wish us luck!
