We were able to have Bryson's entire family down here for an early Christmas last week. It was so fun to have his brothers all down here, and Colby's girlfriend Valerie. It was just for a short trip but it was still a good time. We all did a little Christmas shopping, then went out to dinner and then on Saturday we opened gifts. Derek had SO much fun this year opening presents and was full of excitement each package he picked up; even if it wasn't for him he enjoyed opening it. He was exhausted after about 20 minutes of jumping up and down for each gift so when it was down to just the last couple, he was sighing and plopping down on dads lap slowly opening them. What a silly kid he is. Thanks again Val & Narlene for the fun time down here.
Derek was hugging the dessert case. He wanted to have one of everything!

I think Derek thought maybe if he rubbed Grandpa Val's head for good luck he could score a big dessert from the case!
