Putting A Boy In Time Out
Well since Derek was just several months we were sure to let him know what is okay to do, and what is not. So now that we have gotten a puppy he has found a new friend that comes and comforts him when Mommy & Daddy say "go to the corner".
It's hard not to smile or think it's cute when Cota rushes over to Derek screaming and puts her head on his lap. He loves that she is his size and that they are buddies. Unfortunately that means if Cota can't reach something, sure enough her little buddy Derek comes along and reaches it for her so she can chew on it! The two of them are too cute together, when they want to be.

Dogs are so funny with kids-its funny how protective they are. Our friends have a daughter and my dog Hank thinks she is his- from the day they brought her over at like a week old he's been lovestruck. Now that she walks- he's right there with her.
